NSC Congress & Expo set for Atlanta in Sept.

The education-oriented Congress will be held Sept 26-Oct 2 in Atlanta, GA. The Expo runs Sept 28–30.

More than 14,000 health and environmental professionals will attend, along with more than 1,000 exhibitors spread across 200,000+ square feet.

The National Safety Council says the Congress and Expo attracts decision makers with purchasing power of the following products: general safety, PPE, fall protection, occupational health, hazard control, emergency response, environmental protection, risk management, and other categories.

The Exhibitor Advisory Board provides a voice for the NSC Exhibitor Community. Board members are involved in reviewing NSC Congress & Expo policies and operating practices specific to exhibitors. AIHce & ASSE Safety 2015 run back to back

Yep, the American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo (AIHce) runs June 1-3 for the exhibition part of the program in Salt Lake City. After the expo closes at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, the American Society of Safety Engineers’ Safety 2015 expo picks up Sunday, June 7 and runs through Tuesday, June 9 in Dallas, TX. The conference runs from the 7-10.

ISEA executive summit set for May 3-5 in San Antonio

The Executive Summit is ISEA’s annual meeting, held every spring. The 2015 Executive Summit will be held May 3-5 at the J.W. Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

 ISEA, the International Safety Equipment Association has set the standard for personal protective technologies for more than 75 years.

Included in the association are products and technologies for:

• protection of workers against impact, cuts and abrasions, chemical and biological agents, noise, radiation and thermal hazards and electricity;

• detection, analysis, classification and measurement of hazards;

• early warning to workers, and warning to others of the presence of workers;

• mitigation of the effects of accidental exposure, such as first aid, emergency eyewash and showers.

Nat’l Hearing Conservation Assoc. meets in New Orleans

The National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) will hold its annual meeting February 19-21, 2015 at the Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans. This is one of the first safety and health industry related meetings to convene in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Due to Mardi Gras, attendees will not be allowed to arrive on February 17th. Please plan accordingly.

The exhibit portion of the conference kicks off with an exhibitor reception from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 19. Exhibits run 10 am – 12:10 pm and 1:35 – 7 pm on Friday, Feb. 20. On Saturday, Feb. 21, exhibit hours are 9 am – noon.
